Mr. Gorman is responsible for sourcing, evaluating and monitoring investments. Immediately prior to joining Aether Investment Partners in January of 2017, Mr. Gorman served as Head of Alternative Investments Research at U.S. Bank Wealth Management (“U.S. Bank”). During his tenure with US Bank, Mr. Gorman supervised a team of analysts and led all aspects of the firm’s due diligence and research activities for private equity, real assets, hedge funds and liquid alternative funds. Mr. Gorman was also responsible for client education and oversaw significant growth of assets in alternative investments from the time he joined the bank in 2007. Additionally, Mr. Gorman served as a voting member of U.S. Bank’s Asset Management, Asset Allocation, Commodities and Alternative Investment Committees.
Prior to U.S. Bank, Mr. Gorman served as Research Associate within Alternative Investments at Jeffrey Slocum & Associates. Mr. Gorman earned a BA in Economics and Management from the University of Minnesota-Morris.
