Mr. McCarthy supports in the sourcing, evaluating and monitoring of investments. Prior to joining Aether Investment Partners in August of 2022, Mr. McCarthy served as a Research Analyst for Craig-Hallum Capital Group (“Craig-Hallum”). While at Craig-Hallum, Mr. McCarthy’s responsibilities primarily included identifying and monitoring investment ideas for the firm’s institutional clients. Prior to Craig-Hallum, Mr. McCarthy received a BA in Economics and Philosophy with an emphasis in Finance from Lake Forest College. While at Lake Forest College, Mr. McCarthy interned at Intrinsic Edge Capital Management and Alley Company, both investment management firms based in Greater Chicago.
