Mr. Goodrich is a co-founder of Aether Investment Partners and is responsible for sourcing, evaluating and monitoring investments. Immediately prior to forming Aether Investment Partners, Mr. Goodrich served as the Director of Alternative Investments at Jeffrey Slocum & Associates, Inc. During his tenure at Jeffrey Slocum & Associates, Mr. Goodrich led the firm’s private capital and real assets research activities. In this capacity, he was responsible for designing investment portfolios and sourcing, evaluating and monitoring private equity, venture capital, special situation, real estate and natural resource investments recommended to the firm’s institutional clients.
In addition to the aforementioned responsibilities, Mr. Goodrich served on several fund advisory committees, supervised a team of analysts and associates, helped direct Jeffrey Slocum & Associates’ hedge fund research activities and served on the firm’s Hedge Fund and Strategic Development Committees. Prior to Jeffrey Slocum & Associates, Mr. Goodrich worked for First Union Securities as an analyst, Trigon Engineering Consultants as an engineering technician and Cantor Fitzgerald, L.P. as a trader and institutional salesman. Mr. Goodrich earned a BS in Business with a minor in Russian from St. Michael’s College, where he was graduated with honors, and an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he was a member of Beta Gamma Sigma. Mr. Goodrich is a Chartered Financial Analyst charterholder.
